Grapefruit Infused Gin

Grapefruit infused gin is a favorite libation at my house.  It only takes two ingredients and you can make it in 15 minutes.  Citrus fruits are one of the few perks of winter and big juicy grapefruits are popping up all over in the grocery stores right now.  Preserve them while the fruit is sweet, flavorful and acidic, as citrus quality wanes over time.

You’ll need a couple ripe heavy grapefruits and a bottle of gin to make this delicious concoction.  The infusion needs to sit for a month, but after that, you’ll be wishing you made more.  Make your next gin and tonic with this stuff and spring will be here before you know it.
